This basement bathroom was utilitarian, with just a toilet and a shower, and exposed pipes for heating, water and gas. We created an oasis. Tumbled marble is featured in the shower and on the floor, with natural stone for accent. The window wells were designed for storage, a clever alternative to traditional window coverings in a small space.

This bathroom is part of the private Master Suite that was created when we gave the home a two-storey addition. The bathroom is a marbled oasis and has many luxury features. The custom Harlequin pattern uses Carrera and Nero Marquina marbles. Diamond White Granite is used on the counter-top as well as the ledge for the corner soaker tub. Some of the other luxury items include; a walk-in shower with a pressure-balanced temperature valve, a luxurious rain-head showerhead, radiant heated floors and a heated towel rack.
