Every week, I talk to existing clients and prospective clients with questions (that become clients 95% of the time!) The conversation that stood out most this week was with a young family that was referred to me by a close friend of theirs. We had a great exchange of ideas on how social media and peer pressure had negatively affected some of their financial decisions. Smart couple, making great choices for themselves, and ignoring the noise around them! Reminds me of a great quote from Financial Planning genius Carl Richards, "As long as you stay focused on achieving your own financial goals instead of being sidetracked by what other people most value, you'll get there."
