With covid-19 cases climbing once more we would like to ask our clients cooperation in keeping us all safe. If you have travelled to the Halifax area, or was at any of the posted contact areas, please contact Carole or myself to discuss the travel. Also if you have an upcoming appointment before Xmas that you feel uncomfortable to attend for any reason, please cancel to allow us to fit someone else in your spot as soon as possible. If you wish to purchase gift certificates or product outside your appointment time, Contact us for a time to shop or pick up at door. We will continue to make your time at the shop as safe and comfortable as possible. Be safe everyone as we enter our holiday season.

Wow! We have been back 6 weeks now! We have been catching up with all our clients and we are happy to let you know that on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday’s, Carole will be able to take limited same day or next day appointments. If you call those mornings , she will do her best to accommodate you. Not quite a walk in, like the good ole days but the next best thing!

FYI : for Carole's Clients Welcome to our new "normal" I am looking forward to seeing everyone very soon I will be getting my schedule in order over the next few days. Everyone that was booked for March, April and May will be contacted first. Then I will be contacting people on my list.... I will not be accepting walk-ins BUT I will be accepting NEW CLIENTS by appointment. Call/ text 902-301-0973 or Messenger me Now some new rules: If you have experienced any flu like symptoms, or are feeling ill, in any way, please reschedule your appointment EVERYONE is required to wear a mask, for both of our safety One client at a time You will be asked to wait in your car until I come to you Hand washing when you enter will be mandatory I will be asking questions when I contact you. For Betty’s clientele I want to update all my clients. I will be calling or messaging everyone in the order you were prebooked or cancelled. After which I will be booking anyone on my list that has been in touch. If you rebook regularly, you should have to do nothing but if you don’t think you’d be on my list, please send me a message at 9027710646. The phone at the shop will be connected before we open but it is not yet. I ask for your patience as I have a long list a...nd I’d love to do everyone first. I am excited to be back and would like to share some guidelines we will be following: - If you are experiencing any signs of covid or even flu or cold, please reschedule. If I’m sick with anything, I will be unable to work. - when you come for your appointment, please remain in your car in front until I come out. I may be sanitizing after the previous client. - please wear a mask. It is mandatory. If you don’t have one, I will have a disposable one for you to wear for a small fee. I also have reusable ones to use that will be washed after each use. I will also wear a mask and face sheild - no food or drinks to be brought in - please come one at a time - you will be asked to wash your hands upon entering - no walk ins - no eyebrow waxing, facial waxing, eyebrow tints, beard or facial hair trimming. Government rules Things will look and feel much different but I guess everything does. That being said, I look forward to seeing each and every one of you, make your hair beautiful again and hearing your quarantine stories! Talk soon

While we are waiting to reopen, we are going to have some fun with a contest. Post a picture of your roots. As you can see, we have been without color as well during quarantine! We really do understand There will be 2 winners. One client of Carole’s and one client of Betty’s will be chosen! The winners will be chosen on the number of likes your photo gets. Contest will be open until we announce our opening. The winners will both get a retail gift package worth $30. Also, we are aware that everyone would like to be first. The winners will be receiving an appointment the first week of opening, no matter where you fall on our lists! Let’s see your growth!

We have received guidelines for when we return to work! As it is a lengthy list we will just hit the highlights. -appointments only, no walk ins -mandatory masks You can wear your own or purchase a disposable one at the shop for the cost of the mask -when arriving for appointment, please remain in your car until we tell you to enter to accommodate sanitation practices -retail products will be assessable only to us until purchase... -no food or drink to be brought in or served. Limit personal belongings being brought in -please arrive with clean dry hair for cuts and colours to limit shampooing -no beard or moustache trimming -no facial waxing -capes, aprons, our masks, our face shields will be changed between each client as well as proper sanitation practices throughout the shop - due to the size of our shop, we will be working opposite shifts, alone. Our hours will change accordingly. Things with the new normal will look very different. We will do everything to make our shop and your experience as safe as possible. That being said, we have a long list of clients to return to. We have decided to start with the people previously booked or last cancelled first. When we get a confirmed date of return, you will hear from us. We will discuss what you can expect at that time. We hope this finds you all healthy and safe. We miss you all.
