Hi everyone! Just a little update on whats happening with the Cosmetology industry. We have a new set of regulations to follow before we can reopen. The shop will look a little empty when you come in as I have removed chairs, books, magazines and the craft table from the waiting room. I will leave one chair that is covered in a heavy plastic that is easy to sanitize in case you have to wait for a drive or arrive a bit early. Upon arrival I ask you to go into the washroom and... wash your hands, then I will give you a mask that is mandatory, (no mask, no service) if you have breathing issues I will give you a shield to use. There will be posters around the shop to read. Take all belongings with you to the chair that will be disinfected after each client. There will be hand sanitizer to use as well. When the service is finished unfortunately you cant stay and chat like usual because I have to do a thorough sanitation of chair, tool, brushes etc. before the next client comes in. Thankfully I do not have to put any barriers around because Im the only staff and the room are big and my two styling chairs are more than 6 feet apart. Time is valuable these days. Please do not come to the shop if you feel any type of illness coming on or are sick in any way. Your saftey comes first! I have a list of many of you who have messaged or called me and I will definitely contact you when its time to start booking. There is no point in booking now seeing as we do not have an opening date yet. Im hoping it will be within the next three weeks.Ill keep you updated when I learn anymore information.
