Congratulations to Team Canada finishing Silver in the AQHA Youth World Cup, which went Virtual this year due to COVID-19. A special mention to a member of Team SMPH, Kamyl Mathieu, who was chosen to represent Canada and had some very strong results! Kamyl came to the farm in October and rode a horse that she had never swung her leg over, Cletus aka. OneGoodHotPine owned by Mallory McKewen. In just 3 days, she got a feel for Cletus and filmed videos for 4 different e...vents - placing in all of them! Bronze Medallist - Showmanship (Winning under a judge!) Bronze Medallist - Equitation 7th Place - Trail (2ndunder a judge!) 13th Place - Horsemanship 18th Place Reining We are all very proud of you Kamyl! Congratulations also to the other riders chosen to compete for Canada, and all other respective countries. Exciting news!! Our Fall Series begins August 28th and will feature an exciting **Trainers' Horsemanship Challenge** in addition to the regular Showmanship, Equ...itation, Horsemanship and Walk-Trot classes. The first show will run August 28th through September 6th and be judged by AQHA judge Lori Gordon. New for this series, classes will be split into All-Age Non-Pro and All-Age Novice to allow for patterns based on exhibitor level. Mark your calendars for what is sure to be another great series!
