We would like to introduce you to another lifeguard at the Shaunavon Swimming Pool; Tanner Entem. Tanner is going into his third year of Kinesiology at the University of Regina. Tanner has been working at the Shaunavon Swimming Pool for 5 years now. Over these five years, Tanner has taken his Water Safety Instructor and National Lifeguarding courses. A few facts about Tanner are: his favourite animal is an orangutan. His favourite movie is Talladega Nights. Winter is Tanner’s favourite season because he can meet new people at University.

Tomorrow; Monday August 24th, we will have a guest teaching Aquasize. Chandra Anderson will be teaching the Aquasize at 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. She will be teaching from the deck on the East side of the bigger pool. Chandra will be recorded. This recording is to help Chandra get her certification for teaching her own Aqua courses.

We would like to introduce everyone to Tiana Illurbrun! Tiana had just completed her grade 10 year at the Shaunavon High School. Tiana started working at the Shaunavon Swimming Pool in 2019. Over the past two years Tiana has been working here; she had taken her Water Safety Instructors Course. Listed here are a couple of fun facts about Tiana. Her favourite animal is a dog. Tiana’s favourite movie is Moana. Also, Tiana likes the summer the most! She is always excited about work.

We would like everyone to meet another lifeguard, Bryden Tremere! Bryden is going into her grade 12 year at the Shaunavon High School. Bryden has been working at the Shaunavon Swimming Pool for the past three years. She has taken her National Lifeguarding Course. A few fun facts about Bryden Her favourite animal is a possum and her favourite movie is Alice in Wonderland. Bryden does not like a specific season of the year. She likes different activities and events that happen in each season.

We have another lifeguard we want to recognize. This lifeguard is Elizabeth Bennett! Elizabeth is going into her grade 11 year. This is Elizabeth’s second year at the Shaunavon Swimming Pool. Elizabeth is a lifeguard that has taken her Water Safety Instructor course. Here are a couple fun facts about Elizabeth! Her favourite animal is a chameleon and her favourite movie is Soul Surfer. Elizabeth likes winter the most. She gets to play sports and be in the mountains during the winter months.

We would like to introduce another lifeguard at the Shaunavon Swimming Pool. This lifeguard is Tori Stearns! Tori has just completed her grade 11 year at the Shaunavon High School. Tori started working at the Shaunavon Swimming Pool in 2018. Over the three years, Tori has taken her National Lifeguarding and her Water Safety Instructor Courses! A few fun facts about Tori consist of her favourite animal being a whale. Tori’s favourite movie is Baywatch. Another fun fact about Tori is that her favourite season of the year is summer. Tori likes the weather and that she is out of school.

We would like to introduce everyone to our graduate lifeguard this year. This is Kaden Floberg, he will be joining classes at the Medicine Hat College for Nursing this fall! Kaden has been working at the Shaunavon Swimming Pool for three years now. Kaden has taken his NLS when Shaunavon hosted the course last year. Some fun facts about Kaden are Kaden’s favourite animal is a Tiger and his favourite movie is Shutter Island. Kaden’s favourite season of the year is summer. He likes summer the most for the warm weather!

As of today, August 7th, there is a mandatory sign-in upon entry of the Shaunavon Swimming Pool, due to the rise of Covid-19 cases in the south. You will be required to provide your name and contact information. Thank you for your cooperation!

Tomorrow, July 31st, we will be closing the pool at 6:00 for the SHS graduation ceremonies! We will be blowing the whistle to let everyone hop out of the pool at 5:45. This is to give people time to change before the SHS graduation parade starts. Sorry for any inconvenience.
