Hey friends! It’s been a while and I have been making some big changes so I thought you might be due for an update. This is me! ... In July 2018 I discovered I had stave 4b Hodgkins Lymphoma. This was a huge shock to me because I considered myself to be a very health oriented person. For those of you who know me personally you likely have heard me discuss healthy eating, exercise, mindfulness and supplements at some point or another as these things have been a part of my life for many years. I had an amazing doctor at Princess Margaret hospital, an incredible integrative naturopath and 6 rounds of high dose chemotherapy and am so grateful to now be cancer free! This experience had a HUGE impact on me. My community really came together to support my family during my treatment and gave me the opportunity to pause..breathe..take stock and change focus. So after 20 years in the hairdressing industry I am now making a shift and studying holistic nutrition so that I can help others be and stay well! I received so much love and support and now my goal is to share this with you all. Please be patient as I transition this page as I’m hopeful that the content I will share will be of benefit to you....or at least make you smile. xxS
