27 years ago I had the honour to stand with my young family as I was sworn in as councillor for the first time. Now with young families of their own, they stand with me again as I am honoured and humbled to stand to be sworn in and take this seat once again to represent Ward 2. I am so thankful to you, the residents of Ward 2, for putting your trust in me to represent you. ... I am your voice at city hall. Never hesitate to reach out with any of your concerns and ideas.

Thank you. Thank you for putting your trust in me to do a job I love. I am honoured and thankful that you have chosen me to represent you. Tomorrow, I will get to work on the issues of importance to you. And I promise, I will not let you down. To all of the candidates who put their names forward - thank you for a great and respectful campaign, we learned a lot from one another and I think that’s very important in the democratic process. Eight candidates coming forward for a ...by- election speaks volumes about the strength of our democracy. And with folks like you who are passionate about our community I have no doubt the future of our ward is very bright. To the residents of Ward 2, Thank you for putting your faith in me. These are tumultuous times, and I promise to always be accessible to you. My phone number is in the phone book. It always has been and always will be for you. You can also reach me here on Facebook or by email at [email protected]. Let’s get to work!
