Yesterday marked the 22nd year anniversary of the tragic accident of the Swiss Air Flight 111 . The Fishermen in our community of Dover, Peggy's Cove and surrounding area were some of the first responders on site after the plane went down in the unlikely but desperate hope to find a survivor . There were none . All 229 lives on board were lost . Some of Shaw's landings history is connected to this day 22 years ago . ... We would like to say thank you to all of the first responders and to the fishermen from September 2 , 1998 . Thank you to all the first responders today for their support and service . - Rob & Karen
