We are in the month of November and the year is coming to a close very quickly. I can't be the only one who feels like this year is flying by! Let's have a look at the October Market Stats! The number of new listings from September (1,156) to October (1,065) decreased by 7.9%! We also saw a decrease in new listings of 1.2% from October 2019. The number of sales from September (911) to October (883) decreased slightly as well by 3.1% however we saw a HUGE increa...se in sales compared to October 2019 (633) by 39.5%! Average days on market decreased by 3 days (9.5%) from September (31 days) to October (28 days) and down 36.2% from October of 2019 (43 days). Homes are still moving very quickly! The HPI benchmark price has risen 18% from $422,700 back in October 2019 to $498,900 in October 2020! A 1.6% increase from September which was $491,100. These October stats are looking great! Summer is officially coming to an end, back to school has begun, the crisp fall air is back in our lives and the August Market Stats are in! The number of new listings from July (1,171) to August (1,148) decreased by 1.96%! Up 9.02% from August 2019 (1,053). The number of sales from July (993) to August (978) went down slightly as well by 1.51% however we saw a massive increase in sales compared to August 2019 by a whopping 37.17%! Average days o...n market decreased by 5 days (12.03%) from July (40 days) to August (35 days) and down 18.56% from August of 2019 (43.1 days). Homes are moving quick! The HPI benchmark price has risen 15.34% from $418,400 back in August 2019 to $482,600 in August 2020! A 1.92% increase from July which was $473,500. Overall these August stats are looking great!
