My first outdoor market of 2020 is Sunday July 19 at The Leslieville Flea! Join me from 10 am - 5 pm at Ashbridge Estate 1444 Queen Street East. All the vendors will be wearing masks and the outdoor booths will be at least 6 feet apart. Soooo excited!

I want to give a great big shout out of gratitude to Tracey TieF, founder, teacher and owner of Anarres Natural Health www.AnarresHealth.ca at 1076 Bloor Street West, for offering generous space in her beautiful Apothecary to showcase a huge selection of She Sells Sanctuary handicrafts: Pure silk and recycled silk sari scarves, lightweight summer cashmere scarves, sterling silver, white metal and brass earrings, Tibetan necklaces, artisan hand loomed blankets, felted hand and... finger puppets, adorable animal ornaments, cotton woven elephants and giraffes. Attached are photos of all the new products now for sale. I met Tracey several years ago when I was walking by her old location and felt drawn inside where I was blown away with the quality and variety of her handmade body and eco-friendly products. I have been a regular customer ever since. When she overheard me on the phone talking about my business, she bluntly said I support Fair Trade. You are welcome to sell your goods here’. My mouth literally dropped open in disbelief when she offered me the most generous, selfless profit share that anyone has ever given me or indeed ever will. No negotiations, no needy haggling or begging she openly just offered it. Last week, once again, Tracey invited me to drop off a selection of my products that are now on display. With all the Toronto artisan markets that I sell at presently cancelled this generous offer to share her retail space with a presently struggling fellow entrepreneur gave me the first feelings of hope I have had in months. Thank you Thank you Thank you. Anarres Natural Health is located 1.5 blocks East of the Dufferin subway. If you have never been inside prepare to get ‘deliciously lost’. I always think I will pop in for 15 minutes and end up still browsing one hour later. The helpful and friendly staff are also verrrry patient at answering questions and making suggestions. Anarres is a local Toronto gem. I promise you won’t regret checking it out.
