This weekend as I was at the salon reorganizing, doing laundry, and other maintenance things needing I done, I was reminded that thanksgiving weekend a year ago I was being helped by my best friend and husband trying to get ready to open the salon in my new location for Oct. 15, 2019. I can’t believe a year has gone by already. I have been blessed by health, wonderful clients and a beautiful workspace I get to share with others every single day I am there. I only hope the next year is as fulfilling as the last, even with the craziness of Covid. Happy thanksgiving everyone!

This table was created by Carole of Carole’s Inspirations. It has made its debut at my salon today. It has a feel of the ocean and nature adding to the relaxed atmosphere ready to welcome you!

I just want to say a huge thank you to all my clients. It has been busy trying to get everyone in since salons have been able To open again. You all have been so patient with me trying to get all of you called. My online booking has been awesome for helping keep up with the demand. I am booking into July but am committed to maintaining my hours at max so I can see you all ASAP. Hope you all have a terrific week!!

It is with a very heavy heart I am informing you, effective March 21 2020, Shear Beauty will be closed until further notice. Dr. Bonnie Henry, BC's Health Officer made the announcement Saturday Morning. I cannot express how much heartache I feel at not being able to hang out with you all in my shop. I have grown to love this community and all of you who have made me feel like the luckiest hair stylist in the world. Without all of you, I would not be able to be employed in the... best industry ever. I do want to let you know that I am thinking of all of you during this unprecedented time. Please stay safe, tell your family you love them and seize the moment. If nothing else, use this time to re-center and we will all be able to come out the other side with a better appreciation for the life we have.
