***LONG POST*** We will be booking appointments closer to when phase 2 is approaching on May 22nd, providing we can secure the proper PPE we are required to hav...e. We will be rebooking in the order of which we cancelled when the pandemic started. We know everyone is VERY eager to get back to normal, get rid or their grey hair, have their home haircuts fixed up, and get rid of the clips and headbands we don't normally wear. In saying that we have a new "normal" in the hair world. Our sanitizing and disinfecting protocols have changed drastically to help keep everyone safe. This will take more time. We can now only have one client in the salon at a time per stylist. WE ASK FOR YOUR PATIENCE. WE ARE DOING OUR BEST. It is a stressful time for all of us. We have family members with compromised immune systems that we need to protect. With many of the new protocols we need to follow there are a few that we will be asking you the client to follow as well in order to be premitted into the salon. This is to ensure we work together to keep everyone safe. PROTOCOLS FOR THE CLIENTS: ***You will be asked to stay in your vechicle upon arriving to the salon. We will wave you in when we are ready. This is allow us ample time to get the previous client out and get everything disinfected before you come in. ***Wear a mask either a reusable cotton one or we will have some disposable masks on hand for purchase for the price of the masks. ***You will be asked to wash and or sanitize your hands upon arrival and departure of the salon. ***We will be keeping the doors locked between clients. You will now only be able to book appointments via phone or text. We will not be answering the phone while with a client. WE WILL CALL YOU BACK. This ensures a better handle on disinfecting. ***You will be asked to only sit in your stylists chair until you are directed to move. Please no walking around. ***If you need help with retail just ask, we will get it for you. If you do not have an appointment and require retail, please call or text to arrange a curb side pick up. ***We will not be serving refreshments at this time. ***We ask that no one show up LATE for their appointments. With all of our new disinfecting protocols even 5 minutes could cause us to have to reschedule your appointment. With a very long list of clients that are requiring appointments if you DO NOT show up or are LATE for your scheduled appointment time causing us to not be able to provide the service you will be required to pay 50% of your service before rebooking. This will hopefully help us to get through the back log. ***We ask that if you have been outside the province, live with, or have been in contact with anyone who has been outside of the province in the last 14 days to reschedule your appointment. ***If you have been in contact with someone who has Covid-19 symptoms or have any of the symptoms yourself please reshedule your appointment. You will be asked these questions before booking and asked to sign a form stating that none of these symptoms are present before any service is preformed. We look forward to be able to serve our clients again. PLEASE BE PATIENCE WITH US AND REMEMBER NO ONE ASKED FOR COVID-19. Dearest Hair Family In an abundance of caution and great regret we wish to inform you that, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Shear Intensity will be closing temporarily effective March 17th, 2020. Following the advice of PEI Chief Medical Health Officer and other Government Officials, we have decided to take this step in an effort to prevent potential transmission of Covid-19 and do our part to help flatten the curve. This was not an easy decision to make but we feel it is the best one for our clients, our families, and our community. We will, in the near future, be contacting clients who have scheduled appointments to rebook at a later date. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Together we can flatten the curve.
