Let's talk hair washing. How often do you wash your hair? Me? I'm like 1 - 2 times per week. Depending on the season and what my week was like and even the way I style it. If I straighten my hair I can go 7 days no problem but curly it's more like 2. Are you oily or dry? While I'm on it I'm going to clear up an old hair coloring method. ... Many years ago us hairstylists used to say that dirty hair is good for coloring.. now this was a true statement years ago but the chemistry behind the colors now a days are far more gentle and far more superior. But that being said they really should be applied on clean hair. Sometimes I'll have clients come in with hair that really should have been washed prior to coming to their appointment. Sometimes the build up can hinder what the results should be. So keep in mind if you have a hair appointment and it would normally be a hair washing day.. you might want to just go ahead and clear that pallet for your artist to create on. Some helpful things for oily hair is dry shampoo And for dry hair. Try doing a treatment when you wash. Leave your conditioner on while you finish up and rinse it off with cool water. If you want to save your color use cooler water. Hot water on your hair isn't great. If you think of it like spaghetti. When you put it in hot water it swells up. You hair acts the same way. Only difference is that the swelling will cause your color to wash out and it will cause your scalp to dry out and the hair strands too. Hope this is helpful. How's your washing going?.

Hey everyone!! An update on my customer appreciation skate day (Sat Feb 19.22) This will be very weather dependent so I will need to update as the week goes. Currently the weather is warming up rapidly this week so I'm crossing my fingers that they are wrong. Lol. If this doesn't pan out I will choose a later date to celebrate.

No filter. Before and after. Last appointment was early December. Highlites and low lights. Lower maintenance great coverage. No root color just foils to blend. My regular salon hours consist of Wednesday 9am to 5pm Thursday 12pm to 10pm Friday 9am to 5pm... Saturday 8am to 4pm ... What I actually work because I can't keep up. Lol Wednesday 9am to 5pm Thursday 11am to 1130pm Friday 9am to 7pm or 8pm or 9 pm Saturday 7am to 4pm or 5pm or 6pm or 7pm Then random days because I feel bad that you didn't pre book and now can't get in. LOL

First of all I am beyond blessed and thankful for you all. As we approach the Christmas season appointments have filled right up. The entire month of December is booked with only a few haircut spots. Currently I only have 2 or 3 chemical appointments spots left open for November, but you may need to be flexible on time. ... **I am trying to fit in a men's type of night in December.
