Today is the first day of 16 Days of Activism, to raise awareness about gender-based violence. November 25 is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The 16 days concludes on the international day for Human Rights. From Violence Prevention Grey Bruce: "This year, the start of the 16 Days of Activism coincide with a community forum about human trafficking to be live streamed on November 25th starting at 6:30pm on Violence Prevention Grey Bruce’s website, Facebook page, and youtube channel."
