IMPORTANT! Change of date for our annual Spin-a-thon!!!! The Spook-a-thon/Spin-a-thon annual fundraiser will be taking place on Thursday, October 29th, as there is no school for students on Oct. 30th now due to a sudden change in the date for teachers to attend a district wide Professional Learning Day. Stay tuned, and check this site on a regular basis as, tons of prizes will be posted (adult and children prizes), as well as a top winning class party, and MORE!!

Spook-a-thon (Spin-a-thon) Prize Update: We have recieved a Norwex package for our parents/supporter draw! Yesterday the staff and students of Shediac Cape School launched our 5th Annual Spin-a-thon! This year our event takes place on October 29, 2020 (editted from original date of Oct. 30). We will be spinning all day to raise funds for our school. We have changed the name to a Spook-a-thon this year to coincide with Halloween. Info letters and pledge sheets have been sent home with students. Let's support our Sharks! Welcome back everyone!!!!!!!!!!! What a wonderful first week at Shediac Cape school! We were so thrilled to see all of our Sharks and know that they were smiling under their masks just as much as we were. A huge shout out to our bus drivers for keeping us safe on the roads This is going to be a great year!!!

Welcome back to all of our students!!! Things have been going very well, following a LONG break, and the new regulations due to COVID 19. We are so proud of all the students!! A few reminders: If you have not purchased your child's school supplies, please do so as soon as possible, as this year, we did not collect fees and purchase them on our own. Parents/Guardians are responsible for purchasing them and sending them in (labelled) with their child. Lists were sent with you...r child's last report card. Also, microwaves will not be available this year, so please make sure that whatever you send for your child's lunch is something that does not need to be heated up. Fountains are not available as well; but students are able to fill their water bottle at the water stations. Please make sure that your child brings their own water bottle (labelled) on a daily basis. Also, MASKS are a must. Students will need to wear them when they leave the classroom, and when they are coming in the school and leaving (it is a good idea to have a pencil case, or bag to keep them in). As mentioned earlier in notices and talk mails, unfortunately, parents and guardians are not permitted to enter the building. If you are picking up your child, please make sure you notify the homeroom teacher of this before, as we have to put all students on their regular bus if we do not have a note stating that they are being picked up. Lastly, this Facebook Page will be used to provide you all with updates, events, notices, etc....anything that is important will be posted here, however, if you have any questions, the messenger portion will not be used anymore, so please call the school 533-3388, or contact your child's homeroom teacher for any questions or concerns! Again, we are VERY proud of everyone!!! Keep up the amazing work, sharks!!! Stay tuned for future updates! :) Thank-you!
