Please make note of our change in hours. We have switched to our Winter Hours, as Layla’s time with us has ended. We are open Saturday 9am-5pm, with Taylor in the office at this time.

A reminder that yearly membership fees were due as of June 30th. Membership fees are $30 per person or $40 for a Family (Family is considered those that reside at the same address). If you wish to renew and have not done so as of yet, I encourage you to visit our new website www.shelburnecountyarchives.ca to fill out our electronic form. Payment can be made via e-transfer, PayPal, cheque or in person during our open hours.... New members are always welcome as well.

A heat warning is in effect for Shelburne County until Wednesday. Heat warnings are issued when very high temperature or humidity conditions are expected to pos...e an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion. Maximum daytime temperatures will be 27 to 30 degrees Celsius, except cooler along parts of the coast. Extreme heat affects everyone. Be aware of heat related illness, such as swelling, rash, cramps, fainting, heat exhaustion, heat stroke and the worsening of some health conditions. Remember to drink plenty of water even before you feel thirsty, to stay in a cool place and to never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
