Hello Shelburne! We hope everyone is staying safe and doing well in these trying times. All of our upcoming events to raise money for our community have been cancelled, so we wanted to share another way you might be able to help us help our community. Our latest donation was to the Shelburne Foodbank for $1000 and we hope to continue to be able to help in any way we can. We have attached a link to support Fundscrip - the supplier of store cards. You could use them to ...purchase your weekly groceries, gas, or Christmas gifts. The online order form is easy to use and as you will see, we get a percentage of each store card purchased. There is no activation fee Once your cards come in the mail, you can use them immediately. For extra security, you receive an email confirming that you received the cards and it takes about 10 days from the time you place your order until you receive them. Since we only purchase small amounts, each individual orders their own and it is delivered through regular mail. Here are some other items to consider: You can order a max of 4 cards with a maximum value of $400 for each order. If you need more, you just need to start a new order Payment: Fundscrip can be set up as a bill payment for online banking or can you give them a pre-authorization to debit your account for the amount ordered. Using your credit card essentially negates our percentage that we make on the cards. Kinettes donated 500$ worth of toys,food, and gift cards to Shelburne Firefighters toy and food drive.

We are sad to announce there will not be a Secret Elf Shop this year. All of the elves wish the kids an amazing Christmas and we will see you next year! If you had donations for us, we kindly ask that you hold on to them. We hope to make an extra special Secret Elf Shop for 2021. ... The money raised from this event was donated to the Shelburne Christmas Hamper. We would like to continue to support this cause, so we are currently looking for new ideas that can incorporate social distancing. We have thought of an online auction, Go Fund me page or ? We also would like to host something fun for kids. We have only come up with a colouring contest. Please let us know any ideas you have so we can discuss it at our next meeting.
