As I look back on 2020, it has been a year that brought unprecedented challenges and changes for all of us. It put significant financial and emotional strain on individuals, families, and businesses. In the midst of it all, Shelley Cares Foundation maintained our role as a key player in keeping residents in Scarborough safe and healthy, with our mission to positively impact local communities by confronting the issue of poverty and hunger. We worked to achieve this mission th...roughout 2020 by providing nutritious, culturally appropriate food to families, seniors, and other food-insecure residents in our community. . . As we look to the future, it is important to reflect on our past achievements. Over the past three years, with our supporters' help, we have created programs and services that are building strong communities where everyone has access to nutritious food. Our efforts are also contributing to raising awareness of food insecurity and inspiring others to help feed their neighbours. . .
