November market update: a little late (my apologies) but still relevant It was an amazing month for sales. Inventory is extremely low, demand is very high and low mortgage interest rates brought the buyers out in droves. Compared to November 2019, the average price of a Detached home has increased by almost $150k and now sits close to a Million $$$!! All the other types of homes also show substantial price increases. Helping the community where we live and work is something I’ve strived to do diligently. The church I attend Heartlake Baptist Church is having a Drive Thru food drop off this Thursday. At least a 100 people in need come to pick up food and personal items every week at our Food pantry. If you’re able to drop off anything, it’ll be a great help. October market stats are out for Brampton. Once again, it was a very strong month in sales and price. Inventory is low while demand is high. Homes that are well priced and show well in good condition will sell fast in this market. Compared to a year ago, the average price of detached homes has sky rocketed to almost a million $$$!!! Low interest rates and the shift to working from home has increased the demand for housing while the supply can’t seem to keep up. Prices therefore are favourably positioned to increase as we look towards year end and begin 2021
