Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a praise report... The Manitoba and Nunavut governments have done the initial approvals of our adoption! Thank you so much for standing with us in prayer. There are many more steps over the next 2 months to make the adoption official, but this was a big hurdle that we needed to overcome. And if you're wondering, no the baby isn't born yet. But could be anytime now! (due date is Sept 29). Thanks again!

Hey everyone. Just a quick personal prayer request. As many of you already know Sonje and I are in the process of adopting a baby which is due any day now. To put it lightly the process is far from easy or stress-free. To add to it all, the government is taking their sweet time in actually approving the adoption. I won't get into all the details but in short, if our baby is born and the approvals are not completed we can't take our baby home(until the approvals are completed). So please stand with me and my family in prayer that all the necessary approvals and paperwork get done in time so that we don't have to delay bonding as a family. Thank you for all your love, support and prayers.

Hey everyone. YFC Altona is hosting it's Mow-A-Thon fundraiser on July 30th. It's a day that we can bless people in our community by mowing their lawns, get teens involved in supporting their community, and raise money for YFC programs. Please consider supporting this initiative by nominating a lawn(s), pledging a per lawn donation, sharing the event so more people become aware of what we are doing. Hey everyone, just a quick prayer request for you all. Please pray for the youth of our community. We are so excited to have our doors back open, but it has made it evident that some of the youth haven't dealt with the Covid shutdown well.
