**EDIT #3** Again, there is no opening date set yet for the shop, but I thought it wise to share with you the pertinent guidelines that will be in place to provide you with our services. These are guidelines set forth by our Govt and are subject to change. These are not ALL of the policies, but the ones I feel are important to prepare yourselves for what to expect when coming in for your appointment!:) 1. EVERY client entering the salon is required to wear a mask. Pleas...e, bring a clean mask with you. This is absolutely mandatory. 2. There will be no walk in service for the time being. A sign will be posted on the outer door stating as such. Our telephone number will be posted as well, so please ensure to call the number provided and we’ll give you a time/ day that you can come in. 3. For the time being, there will no longer be a waiting area. The only people in the salon will be the stylist / esthetician and their individual client. That means, no family or friends along with you for your appointment. The ONLY exception would be for children TWO YEARS OLD AND OLDER that require one guardian/ parent with them (within same household) for cuts. ANY CHILDREN RECEIVING HAIRCUTS MUST ALSO BE ABLE TO WEAR A MASK FOR DURATION OF TIME WITHIN SALON. It is now regulation for us that children two years and under will not be allowed to receive services / cuts for the time being. 4. All bookings will be done on a ‘one client at a time’ basis. With time allowance between each client to properly sanitize work area and high traffic areas. This will reduce the volume of clients we can accommodate daily dramatically. Clients patience is greatly appreciated as we try to catch up and take care of everyone efficiently and SAFELY. 5. There may be a short Risk Acknowledgment Form each client has to fill out prior to service. 6. The usual tea, coffee, water and reading materials we provide will temporarily be removed. 7. Every client entering salon will be required to wash or sanitize your hands. 8. Each client is required to maintain social distance (6 feet) from all other individuals within the salon. With the exception of the stylist / esthetician of course. 9. We will be taking all clients cell phone numbers (if they have one) during scheduling to have on file. This is in the event that a delay in service has happened or a scheduled time frame is running behind. This will be how we can contact you and let you know when you can enter building. We are extremely excited to see all of our clients again! Please remember we will be doing our best to navigate through this new ‘normal’. And we’re going to require your understanding and patience:))) We won’t be scheduling appointments until a definite opening date is announced. I wanted to touch base with our clients. I know many of you, along with ourselves, are eager and waiting to get back into the salon. Our Association is doing their absolute best to keep us informed and up to date with the current Covid 19 situation. That being said, we only receive the same updates the general public receives from our NS Government. As of right now, we do not have confirmation of any opening dates. I am currently working on obtaining all PPE that may be... required once operations can resume. The safety of ourselves and our clients must be maintained as first priority. I want to thank everyone who has reached out with concern for us gals. I want to thank all clients for their continued support. The minute I know what the plan is for reopening I will be announcing on our Facebook Page. I know we are all in dire need of some hair care. I know I am!! But, Trust that the NS Government is making decisions based on the safety of it’s residents. We miss you, our clients. We can not wait to get you back in our chair. We are in this together! See more

So, in case you all haven’t seen the latest news release today, we have been mandated to close our doors by midnight tomorrow, March 19, 2020. It’s been a roller coaster of emotions the past few days not knowing what the outcome may be for us (small business/ self employed salons). Although I didn’t want it to happen, I know it is the best course of action for our health and safety. And of course, the health and safety of our clients. I honestly can’t even tell yo...u when we will be rebooking clients and / or taking new appointments. That is, for me, the most nerve wracking for my business. BUT, I will put faith in the fact that we, as Canadians seem to be making some swift and courageous decisions to bring transmission of this virus to a screeching halt. I will continue to check voicemails at the salon on a regular basis. I will also keep you all updated as best I can on any changes of the current salon closure. Hi everyone! Don’t forget we sell gift certificates for our full range of Hair and Aesthetic services offered here at the shop:).
