And Tanner Hall, who's been a staple on the tour for the last couple seasons, lays out a backie worthy of his official unofficial #SkiBoss status.... It was so rad working with these athletes from The North Face women’s’ snowboard team. They’ve all contributed to the sport in their own unique ways. And it was really cool to look back on their separate paths for ‘FACETS’. Production didn’t come easily. Covid-19 shut down our main trip after just a couple days of shooting. So we had to pivot, collaborate remotely, and dig through the girls’ archival footage. Of course there was no shortage of material to work with... Lucky f...or us, these girls have been crushing it for years! Huge thanks to the athletes and crew who dodged 2020’s non-stop onslaught of curveballs and still managed to put this film together! // Each of us are part of a greater whole, a community that grows stronger together especially when it’s open to all. ‘FACETS’ is a unique look at these inspiring athletes that make up one hell of a portfolio. 25 years (!) since Christian Begin's 'Loco Motion' dropped onto the scene and lodged Roger's Pass into the collective consciousness of any backcountry-driven skier or snowboarder. This treasured VHS tape made came with us everywhere in our early ski bumming daze, and Roger's Pass is the place where we ultimately learned how to ski tour and splitboard. Christian Begin's influence runs deep into our roots, and we're now honoured to call him a friend.
