We had an electric vehicle a few years ago, and it needed the main battery and new was over $10,000.... found a used one from down east, but with transport(very heavy) was almost $8000 for a 3 year old battery..... these are becoming disposable cars after 7 or 8 years, until the price of the batteries drops significantly!
