An important reminder from my colleague, the Minister of Seniors and Housing. While the holidays will be different and difficult for everyone this year, due to ...current health measures, many seniors will have an even more difficult time as they are already quite isolated and have been for some time. I want to encourage you to reach out to the seniors you know, whether they're family, friends, neighbours, people from your book club, or your church. A card or a phone call would go a long way to ensuring they know they're not forgotten. If you have an extra Christmas card or your child(ren) love to colour, craft, draw, or write, consider sending something to Sherwood Care and staff there can distribute it to a senior who has not heard from family in a long time or is in need of a pick-me-up.
