Sewing is our superpower, make it yours too!! Let us take you to the wonderful world of sewing! We are very excited to announce that in Oct, 2020, we will be opening our studio to semi-private sewing classes! Our Introductory Sewing Workshop will introduce you to the very basics technics of hand & machine sewing. You will learn various techniques, threading and operation of INDUSTRIAL sewing machines and understand the basics to start a career. The areas we cover in this clas...s include: Introduction to straight, serger, and Coverstitch machines. Threading the machines Winding a bobbin Cutting a fabric Sewing straight lines, curves and corners Finishing seams and reverse stitching Putting zippers .... and much more!!! Sherzad will be your instructor!! 12 lessons of 4 week period for $850 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday starting Oct, 05, 2020 Two period sessions to choose from, two students in every session: session 1: 6:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m session 2: 8:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m Must be 19 years old or older Basic tools are included. Fabric is NOT included. Call 9029992436 for inquires or to register. Next beginner workshop will be NOV, 02, 2020. Advanced workshops will be announced later but require a beginner workshop at our studio. The machines will be available mornings for rental by the hour ($10 an hour) so you can work on your own projects at your own convenience. Hand washing and wearing face mask will be mandatory at this point. The studio, including all the common tools/equipment and rooms will be cleaned and sanitized after each session. We are still at The Brewery Market.

We are thrilled to announce that due to our remarkable growth over years, we are expanding! In fact, we are opening a boutique. The new store will be located JUST at Alexander Keith's Brewery as we are taking a two level store there instead of the one we are running at the moment. The one level will be the boutique and we will be proudly continuing the sewing services at the second level. Ruffles & Tassels is the boutique name. Please like the page although we haven't published anything there yet :-). If you're in the neighbourhood, please stop in and see the changes happening to our new place that is expected to be open in August, 01. We look forward to seeing you sometime soon!

ALWAYS UP-TO-DATE PHOTOS Our reusable cotton face masks are still available. They are $12.50 each. For 25 masks and up, the price is $10 each. We have a couple prints available and more prints are coming. Pickup is available for smaller quantities anytime during business hours. Check availability for bigger quantities by calling 9029992436 or 9029992437. We’ve made a lot of masks to date, over 1/4 have been donated. Many went to friends, and neighbours. Some customers who pu...rchased bigger quantities were given some extra to give them away to people they know who are in need or at a high risk. Thank you to all that have purchased masks, sure helps to recoup expenses from the ones donated. Thank you for your continued support. We can accommodate no more than 1 people at a time in the pick up area or two from the same family. We ask that everyone practice social distancing if they decide to come pick up at the shop. Please know this approach is about safety-first during this difficult and unprecedented time. Stay safe. We will get through this together.

Due to the storm our flights back home got delayed. Both shops will be open Tuesday, Jan, 07 instead of the planned reopening day of Jan, 06. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
