And so we must cry out in our weakness, our ineptitude, our beautiful inadequacy and make of it an invitation that medicine might reach through and towards us." Grief is medicine, if we let it move through us. It is alive with beauty and most of all Love. After all love and loss are but the same seed. When we honestly and vulnerably open ourselves up to love we know that we are also dancing with Heartbreak. In the heartbreak there is immense beauty, and like a seed - when it breaks - new life forms in the darkness and rises to the light.

"Until you find a place where you are wounded community is not possible" - Bayo Akomolafe In a world that values perfection and progress and success what are we teaching our children about the value of the "breakdown", about the importance of support when struggles appear. The ability to be humble in the face of our own deep conditioning and biases?The pressure to always have it "right" and to not show our flaws. What are the consequences of not facing our wounds when our wounded, imperfect selves is what's needed most right now. Its only through the darkness where the light can manifest.
