Dear clients, We wanted to take a moment to update you on what we have been busy doing at the salon over the past month and what to expect going forward. As you know, we were required to shutdown due to COVID -19; in fact, we decided to do so a few days before the official requirement. We are fully supportive of the government's actions and believe in doing so; we will come out of this issue much faster.... We, however, were not idly sitting around; instead, we took this time to improve our selves and our business. During the shutdown, the salon has received a little of a freshening up, mechanical and electrical upgrades. The salon is also, of course, being sanitized and disinfected in preparation for reopening. Speaking of reopening, we are planning how to serve our clients best and, at the same time, keeping everyone safe. In the coming weeks, we will be sharing with you our stylist protocols and our client protocols to ensure a safe and pleasant experience while having your hair service. Our protocols are from other agencies around the world and other salons who we have taken the initiative to develop their own. We will prepare our final protocol once we have direction from the BC government as they may have some additions to what we have developed. Some of these protocols will require us to change our interactions with you and even ourselves within the salon. Once the protocols are complete, I will be sending out a copy to you so that you aware of how serious we are taking your wellbeing and ours also. We would ask you to do one thing in the preparation of our reopening; if you haven't done so already, please download the BC HEALTH self-assessment tool at https://bc.thrive.health/. As part of our protocol, you will be asked if you passed the assessment a day before your appointment. I hope you don't mind, but this is to ensure the safety of all. Dear clients, For our future health and well-being and in the efforts of protecting our clients, our friends, and families, Shine Hair will be joining in the effort to pause the spread of COVID-19 virus that is currently escalating and circulating through our communities. Effective immediately, Shine Hair Studio will be closed for two weeks or longer if necessary. This wasn't an easy decision, but we felt it is the right one at this time. As our clients, you already know th...at we work close and personal together, and our job made social distancing impossible. We will miss our chit-chats and our therapy sessions, but please note that this will only be a short and temporary pause, and we will be looking forward to seeing you again real soon or as soon as this health crisis is under control. During our temporary closure, for our regular clients who live within reasonable driving distance, if you require products, we will be offering home delivery by way of credit card pre-payment.
