Dr. Natalia Ytsma is offering a late pregnancy appointment for woman to come in and prepare their bodies for the onset of labour . . The appointment is 45 minutes and includes a review of medication, supplements, labs, managing any symptoms, and also acupuncture for preparing for labour! Other recommendations may also be made to make sure you feel your best going forward.

Shipyards Health is very excited to announce that Dr Natalia Ytsma ND will be joining our team in October of 2019. Dr. Natalia Ytsma is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in British Columbia with a focus on women’s health. Over the years she has helped hundreds of women achieve optimal health through regulating their cycles, optimizing fertility, supporting them during pregnancy and post-partum, as well as through menopause. Treatments include comprehensive diet, supplements and... herbs, and acupuncture protocols to rebalance inner health and wellbeing. Dr. Natalia Ytsma, ND obtained a 4-year Honours Bachelor Degree in Life Sciences from McMaster University, after which she went on to complete a 4-year post graduate Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. During her studies, she completed a clinical internship at the Robert Shad Naturopathic Clinic, with a focus in pediatrics. As well as an internship at LAMP Community Health Centre, a charitable organization in Etobicoke, and The Health Partnership, a multi-disciplinary clinic in London, England. HER COMMITMENT What primarily drove me into this field was the ability to truly become a teacher of health. So much of how our bodies heal is ultimately through the foundations we set forth through diet and lifestyle factors. By taking the time to understand, educate, and empower people about what it is their bodies are trying to tell them, optimal health can be achieved.
