We had a Shoebox Family wedding! My beautiful sister got married on September 12 to the love of her life. Photographer Agatha Rowland captured the day so magically and with so much love, tenderness and joy. Congratulations Sydney and Shane! We cannot wait to make all your prints! @agatharowland

Hope everyone had a lovely long weekend! We realized that it had been so long since we reintroduced ourselves to our new followers! I’m Sam Hopkins, the owner and operator of @ShoeboxStudio.I love shooting film, diy home projects, and eating kraft dinner out of the pot . We opened Shoebox in 2018 and have been amazed by all the incredible art we’ve seen first hand since that very first day in August. We recently had the pleasure to work with Ottawa artist @marcf.thivierge to digitize a collection of his original works for an online 3D exhibition. The files produced were used to adorn a virtual gallery space that visitors can navigate and browse artworks as if they were inside a physical gallery. Inspired by the vibrant colour palettes of the Algarve region in Portugal, Marc’s abstract works beautifully portray the organic movement of nature from falling rain to tumultuous winds.
