Where it was made vs the item! One of my favorite parts of vintage is learning the back story. I got some skirts given to me to sell, they were all made in Canada. This Majorie Hamilton one is so cute, and best of all has pockets! It's so nice to honor the work of these ladies , keeping the history of this Vancouver company alive, even after its closure. Happy national thrift shop day! I love thrift stores as they are basically museums where you can buy everything! This dress is a great piece of history, and has journeyed to Canada from Hawaii. Designed by Malia from Honolulu, who was a print design genius. This was part of a special collection with Liberty House, a historic department store.
