Shorehill is open for business. Yesterday the Ontario government announced that we can open. We are ready and prepared for operations during the current health emergency. Prince Edward County has issued a welcome note for all visitors that we have attached. A visit to the County is very simple. Act as you would in your home location. Practice 6ft / 2M social distancing at all times, wash your hands frequently. Health agencies suggest wearing a face mask where social distanc...ing is difficult (we wear our masks whenever in public). Provincial emergency measures are in effect. Local restaurants have take-away options. Local wine is always available, but check ahead with the vineyard for visits (our LCBO have a good selection of County wine). Our famous beaches are closed but park trails are open. We request that you bring groceries with you. Our facilities are fully equipped for "dining in" and hanging out. The local grocery and hardware stores are smaller versions of what you might be used to, and you will likely wait in line for entry (there are better ways to spend your County time - like on our beautiful dock!).
