TREND ALERT SILVER! I have really been enjoying the silver hair trend. Not only do I love a challenge, but this trend has brought me some amazing clients. This is this clients second round of highlights and its her second step towards her hair goal. The goal is silver/white but done gently through multiple processes, so that we keep as much integrity to the hair as possible.... Last time we did balayage highlights to break up her buildup of brown/plum hair colors to give a more natural and lived in style. This time we did a full head of highlights and and finally got the tonality that we were aiming for! Before and after! What a difference! All using Oligo Professionnel lightener and color. Pictured is one of my very first clients, 6 years ago when I first started to cut hair, this young man put his trust in me. Now 6 years have past and we have both grown. This silver platinum client was feeling washed out and wanted more depth and dimension throughout her hair. We added an ashy shadow root in diagonal/vertical sections to create depth. Then we alternated smokey blonde/grey tones to create soft dimensions through her mids to ends.
