Langley's International Festival and Langley Canada Day The Fraser Valley Regional Library is one of the main partners for the Langley's International Festival ...and Langley Canada Day celebrations that will be held from June 28th to July 1st at the 'Willoughby Community Park' just outside the Langley Events Centre, located at 7888 - 200 Street. Over a four day celebrations, the first two days will be the sports fest, and the traditional celebrations will be held on June 30 and July 1 that will include the main stage entertainment, marketplace, vendors, international pavilions, children’s’ entertainment, Kidz Have Talent, rides, a car show, an assortment of ethnic foods, dog show, fireworks, and various other attractions. There will be no entry fee and the parking will be free. The FVRL will be participating in the event on June 30th and July 1st. Please visit the library booth, near the children stage, to meet the library staff, enter a draw to win a camera, let your kids enjoy the multicultural craft and coloring, and feel free to ask any questions. Also hundreds of books, library bags, frisbees, pens etc. will be given out free. Visit one of the Langley or Township of Langley libraries prior to the event, pick a gift coupon that will be exchanged with a surprising gift. The 'LiLi, a surprising little vehicle, loaded with all types of technology, will also be there to entertain, and answering your questions related to technology.
