The bald eagles on the Shubenacadie are a huge part in helping us deliver such great tours every day , so it was nice to be able to help one out when it needed a hand. We were out rafting today when we came across an injured eagle on the sandbar who had been swept away by the Tidal Bore. We managed to get him out of the water and into the boat so we could get him back to our lodge where Hope for Wildlife could aid him in his recovery. ... #EagleRescue

FUN FACT FRIDAY! The Shubie River is hard on gear! On the right is one of our water pump impellers after 120 hrs. On the left is a new one that I’m about to put in. The water pump pulls in water from the river and circulates it through the motor to cool it down while we are pushing against some of the strongest currents in the world!
