Oki Siksika, here is the updated COVID-19 information for Siksika Nation. Siksika Health Services has conducted over 5500 COVID-19 tests since March 24, 2020. For rapid results, individuals can access test results efficiently through MyHealth Records. Here are the steps you can take:... 1. You need to sign up for a MyAlberta Digital ID to use MyHealth Records, a secure Alberta government service that helps keep track of your health information. https://myhealth.alberta.ca/myhealthrecords You will need to sign up for a MyAlberta Digital ID to use this service. You will need to verify your account with your Alberta Driver’s License or Alberta Identification card. 2. Go to MyHealth Records and login with your confirmed MyAlberta Digital ID to create your MyHealth Records account. You need your Alberta Personal Health Number. Make sure to verify your MyAlberta Digital ID within 30 days of your sign up to continue getting up-to-date Alberta lab results, medication, and immunization information in MyHealth Records. This is the final step of the identity verification process

Quickly self-isolating and getting tested if you feel unwell with ANY NEW or CHANGE in symptoms, even if they are mild, remains the most important way to limit the spread of COVID19 in the community. Symptoms can include weakness, fatigue, loss of appetite, muscle or joint aches, pink eye, headache, fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, breathing difficu...lty, or a change in smell or taste. Testing is available by drive thru, 10am - 1pm, or by calling the CRU dispatch at 403-734-3829, 7 days per week.

Today we've reached a milestone of surpassing 4,000 tests completed by Siksika's COVID-19 testing! COVID-19 testing is important because it helps with identifying any potential cases of the virus, to help prevent further spread. People living or working in Siksika can arrange COVID-19 testing by contacting Siksika's COVID-19 Response Unit (CRU). Call 403-734-5688 to arrange testing.
