Last night was the first race night of the 2020 Merrittville karting series!! Logan had a fast kart as he started 4th going into the feature. Made his way through the field and finished a solid 2nd! ATTENTION KARTERS !!!! KART PRACTICE - Tuesday June 16, 2020 5:00pm - Gates Open/Inspection Begins... 6:30pm to 8:30pm - Practice * All karts must be inspected before being allowed to practice * * One Way Radios / Raceceivers are MANDATORY * * Everyone must exit the property by 9:00pm * _________________________________________________ Please be aware that there are strict guidelines to be followed as established by the Ministry of Labour and the Health Unit. Any team not following these guidelines will be removed from the premises and option to return may be prohibited. Each kart team will be allowed the karter and 2 crew 3 PEOPLE MAX. PER TEAM. No exceptions, please dont ask. The cost is $40 per team. Teams can only show up when the gates open, do not show up early. Parking will take place on the stock car track (weather permitting) and all trailers must leave at least 20 ft between neighbouring trailers There is no mingling with other teams! Stay at your own hauler. When at the on and off ramp, social distancing is a must. We will be enforcing it. Please make it easy for us! Pre-payment via e-transfer by Monday June 15th at 5pm is required. Contact Erica at [email protected] with your Karters and two crew member names and instructions for sending an e-transfer will be given at this point. Face coverings are recommended Hand sanitizer stations will be available but you should have your with you as well. Washrooms will be available CONCESSIONS will NOT BE OPEN. Individuals must bring their own food and drink. Sharing among team members is not allowed. Garbage receptacles are provided. Do not use the ground as your garbage can. NO ALCOHOL is permitted. PERIOD. RCM Racing Equipment (Chris Long) will be on site. Social distancing rules apply. NO SPECTATORS or participants that are not on the pre-registered list. If you are not pre-registered or invited with a team you will be turned away at the entrance. With this season closing last night Logan had a great double feature night finishing 2nd and 3rd. Probably some of his best driving this year. Saying goodbye to another awesome season full of some great nights of racing! As always, Logan greatly improved in one way or another over the course of the season. Our last Tuesday night, he raced his best and finished of 5th in his final feature of the year. The biggest of thanks goes out to all of our incredible sponsors, we appreciate every little thing that went towards helping Logan out. Logan had an AWESOME night this week!! He continues to drive his best no matter the circumstances and always takes on his races with a positive attitude. Last night, it paid off! Logan finished 1st in the first heat of the night, started tail in the second heat and managed to finish 2nd, and then absolutely dominated in the feature, getting his first feature win of the season! We can not say thank you enough to everyone at the track for all of the help, as well as all of the amazing sponsors that make these kind of nights possible, and finally all of our family that came out to support Logan! See you all again next week, we cant wait!

Well, we had an up and down kind of night yesterday at Merrittville Speedway. The 20/20 machine was fast and kept up all thanks to Mamo Racing for helping us get back out there, couldnt have done it without you guys! Hats off to our awesome pit crew, Crusher! We finished 5th out of 9 karts, and couldnt be more proud of Logan! Thanks Chris Watson for the photo bomb! Hope to see yall next Tuesday at Merrittville!
