Pages at the Plaza is SATURDAY OCTOBER 4 from 11 am - 2 pm

Celebrate World Animal Day with Pages at the Plaza. Speakers will be Dr Olivier Berreville with Canadians for Ethical Treatment of Food Animals (CETFA) and Else Poulsen, author of "Barle's Story", one polar bear's amazing recovery from life as a circus act. Animal Defenders International will also be represented. Admission is FREE!

Yulia, a great volunteer with us has opened a t-shirt company (www.dreamsplats.ca) and currently is running the support the bees facebook campaign with one of her designs: half the proceeds form the sale of the "Flower beards save bees" design merchandise will go to support natural bee habitats (i.e. will be donated to http://pollinator.org/canada.htm). Please consider supporting her and this worthy cause!
