NEW APCON BOSS ASSUMES OFFICE The new Registrar/CEO of Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) Dr. Olalekan Olumuyiwa Fadolapo has formally taken over on Tuesday, 1st of September as the 4th substantive Registrar of the Apex Regulatory Body. The brief handover ceremony which was presided by the Acting Registrar, Mrs Ijedi Iyoha was held in the conference room at APCON House, Lagos. While handing over, Iyoha urged staff to support and cooperate with the new Regis...trar in his drive to take the organisation to greater heights. Dr. Fadolapo who was received by top Management and staff of the Council expressed gratitude to God and to the Federal Government for the confidence reposed in him to serve the nation in that capacity, pledging to build on the successes and achievements of his predecessors in realising the organisation’s mandate. He said the remarkable stewardship and achievements of his predecessors were possible as a result of the harmonious working relationship that existed within the high level management and staff, adding that there was the need to build on these achievements. He therefore, solicited new ideas and suggestions from staff aimed at making things work seamlessly and also urged them to brace up for hard work. Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo who hails from Esie in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State was born in Lagos. He attended Birch Freeman High School, Surulere, Lagos for his O’Levels. He proceeded to Ogun State University for his first degree in Economics. Dr. Fadolapo holds three (3) Master degrees, MSc in Marketing, Master in Business Administration (MBA), and Master in Legal Studies (MILS) from Babcock University, Ilisan, Ogun State, the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State and Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos State respectively. He also holds a PhD Degree in Marketing with specialization in Marketing Communications from the Babcock University, Illisan Remo, Ogun State. Dr. Fadolapo is a Registered Advertising Practitioner, a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of ICAN. I Am Afojama KossyDora, a Final Year student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka,not just A student but also an Entrepreneur (Student-Preneur). I have worked closely with some brands and corporations as a Model, Brand advertiser and Logistics Planner. Recently i worked with; Nice Moment Slimming Tea, ORIFLAME cosmetics,Pajen clothing,Chestropera organization etc. Currently A Brand Ambassador of ORIFLAME SWEDEN and CHESTROPERA ORGANIZATION. Professionally, I have done some Successful advertisement for brands which has turned out big. I made an advert for Nice moment slimming tea, Clothing line and the sales is Bomb right now. I could be valued as invaluable because of the Spice and extra touch of perfection i add to my business.I Have been known by so many for the beauty, talent, creativity, and dedication i portray and i can only say that there's more to where those are coming from. Outside work, am still that regular girlchild with hobbies such as taking Pictures,reading,dancing and watching several top music,modeling and fashion blogs, as to develop myself and grow to a better version of me. Prosper Godwin Chigbata hails from Amikwo village in Awka town of Anambra State, He was born on the 16th April 1993, to the family of Rev Godwin Chigbata, Prosper being the fourth of seven children graduated from National Open University of Nigeria, with a bachelor's degree in Criminology and intelligence studies, He started his career as a model in 2007, and has featured in many platforms, magazines and adverts, He is also an amazing Actor with many movies and recognitions to his name.
