This weekend many of our active and alumni brothers celebrated 100 years of Sigma Chi Canada, in Toronto. The Gentlemen of Gamma Rho were very well represented this weekend, with the most brothers present amongst all chapters. Special Recognition to Brother Nolan White, winner of the Centennial Outstanding Senior award. There isn’t anybody more deserving of this achievement.

Introducing brother Francis Brideau! School: Second year at Dal for Applied Computer Science Why did you join Sigma Chi?: I joined because I felt the fraternity was a great way to help me grow as a person. I loved all the values that Sigma Chi promited and wanted to make them a bigger part of my life. This year was definitely different and meeting people was hard so joining the fraternity also helped me build strong connections with my brothers.

Introducing brother Ian Bueltel! School: First year double major in theatre and psychology at Dal. Why did you join Sigma Chi?... I joined Sigma Chi because of the values that the fraternity represents. Since joining I have learned many things, and have grown as a person. I also joined because of the opportunities Sigma Chi has to offer to its brothers. With COVID and not having a traditional first semester of university, joining Sigma Chi was a great opportunity to meet new people and form new friendships. I have learned many things as a brother and it has made my Dalhousie experience much more enjoyable. Through Sigma Chi I have grown as a person, and I will continue to do so.
