In order to prevent the spread of infection and keep our community safe, the Executive Committee has decided to put the following new measures in place: 1. Packed 'Langar' will be suspended until further notice. ... 2. Maximum number of people allowed in the Diwan Hall at one time has been reduced to 10. In addition, following measures will remain in effect as before: 1. Mask wearing is mandatory while inside the Gurudwara Sahib. It has been reported that surgical masks are more effective in containing the virus compared to bandana or handkerchiefs. Please make sure to wear the mask either provided at the Gurudwara premises or bring your own. 2. Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly before touching anything in the Gurudwara building. Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Gurpurab Many congratulations on the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Gurpurab. May Waheguru Ji bless all sangat with good health and peace! Even though this is a very important day for humanity in general and 'Sikh Sangat' in particular, unfortunately we can not get together in large numbers at the Gurudwara Sahib. Gurbani Path was started a week ago and will conclude on Monday, Nov 30th. Bhog ceremony and Shabad Kirtan will be relayed via YouTube and facebook channels. Please tune in to listen from home from 10 am to noon and receive Guru Ji's blessings. Let us keep ourselves and our families, neighbours, friends and everyone else around us safe by wearing a mask, sanitization and keeping the safe distance. God bless everyone!
