Sikh Motorcycle Club

COVID-19 has changed the way of life, but some essential social responsibilities stands tall & one of them is putting smile on the face of under privilege children. Toy Run 2020 happened today and Sikh Motorcycle Club participated in it with limited members. This year, due to safety reasons, we decided not to deliver toys. Instead we contributed $500 cash donations on behalf of all our Club Members. Taking care of yourself and your society can be a stress reliever and make us all feel connected.

Terrace, Heart of Northwest British Columbia In the beautiful Skeena River Valley, amidst the Coast mountain Range, lies Terrace, so named for the natural terraces cut by the Skeena River over the centuries past. Terrace is literally a city built within a forest; steep mountain slopes are dotted with beautiful hanging valleys, sweet and clean mountain air, and endless tracts of forest to stagger the imagination and rejuvenate the soul. There is a Gurughar named Gurudwara Sahib Miri Piri in this town as well. Management of Gurdwara Sahib welcomed us & preapared Langer specially for us with the efforts of local Sangat. Local riders Harjit Singh & Davinder Singh joined us from Kitwanga to Terrace.

For many bikers, riding a motorcycle is not a hobby or need, it’s Passion. Jitender Singh, one of our club member, always has a deep fire in his belly to design and own a most eye catching bike. His bikes are known all over for winning dozen of awards in most of the bike shows. His recent creation is unique and aesthetically pleasing. We are very proud to have him in our club.

Sikh Motorcycle Club members love exploring Canadian towns and cities while riding. Our members choosed our own province this time and are riding in Northern BC and will be visiting Yukon and Alberta. The ride started from Vancouver after Ardaas at Kalgidhar Gurudwara Abbostford and the destination for the first day was Prince George about 800 km from the starting point. The drive is very beautiful in summers and we loved the Fraser Canyon, loved the climb up to the Cariboo p...lateau through Clinton, loved the meandering range lands around 100 Mile and Lac La Hache. We were very close to nature and miles away from Masks and Sanitizers. After a stretch of 10 hours of riding, we finally reached Prince George where we were welcomed by members of Sardar Motorcycle Club PG. We were offered coffee and snacks by our fellow brothers which was truly an energy booster for us. They escorted us to Gurudwara Guru Nanak Darbar, Prince George where we did Sangat Darshan and spent time with local community. We had booked hotel for our first night stay which was the last spot for the day. This was just the journey to reach Up-North, exploring around will be posted next. Stay Connected.
