I met beautiful @amy.mcintosh at a market in Blackfalds and as I do a lot of small batch I don’t always have everything at the market. We started with the earrings and then Amy so graciously allowed me to design a double lariat for her dress off the earrings she chose. Off centre. Because that’s how I will sum it up right now. Just off. Like has been weird. The world is weird, I find myself reading a lot and sometimes stressing (a lot) about the unrest of the future. . . . . I had 2 amazing conversations today with 2 amazing women. Both were able to encourage me, encourage leaving the big stuff to the big guy (God) and focusing on what is right in front of me and what I can do in the moment. I was left with an amazing feeling. .... . . . At the end of the day, I choose goodness. Being the best I can and I hope to grow in this everyday. I did it for the dangle. . . . Long read: I’m a stud girl. They’re easy, I sleep in them. . .... . But! Lately I’ve been making small changes around my style. Dangles are cute, they’re pretty. Well! We are kinda moved and waiting for our cube with our table, dressers, etc. But the couch and beds are here and most of my supplies. I’m sore but happy to be close to done. Moving is no small feat! With that said, we will probably be doing it again in a couple months if we find ‘the house’ - anyone selling a Spanish style bungalow; large brick wood burning fireplace and old ornate kitchen cabinets just crying to be painted?
