So many clients loved the access to high end shades right in town but Jess and I felt like Oakley has moved away from the fashion forward styles we liked back to the sportier stuff. So coming soon.. our opening order will be 50 pairs so if there is any you had your eye on , send me a note and I can include it with my initial order.. absolutely no obligation to buy, I’m just looking to get a feel for what people like! Will for sure be Wayfarers and Aviators in the bunch!! See you all sooner rather than later I hope!

Hi All! We are ramping up to hopefully be able to open soon! We have missed you all! I have a list started at the salon and we will be calling people back on a first come-first served basis to be as fair as we can for bookings. At this time, we are trying to assess the best way to see everyone and social distance our clients from one another. Our tentative framework will be one client at a time with either one or two stylists in the salon at a time. We will be staggering our... shifts and will possibly be open 7 days a week for the first little while until we settle in. Other precautions will include shampooing only if absolutely necessary or after a colour, recommendations are for clients to come pre-washed and blow drying is also not recommended to reduce air turbulence. I’m looking into the validity of these claims. I’ve ordered lots of hand sanitizer, masks if you forget to bring your own and hi-grade disinfect used in the schools. We will be taking a minimum of 15 minutes between clients to clean and disinfect our stations. Please be totally honest with us about any at home care you have done so we can be fully prepared time-wise for your next appointment as we will be trying very hard to have little to no overlap of clients. We will ask you to come alone or one parent/one child. We are doing our best to open in the safest way possible and feel every reasonable precaution will be in place. Well it’s certainly a roller coaster but after a long sleepless night I have made the decision to finish what we have booked for the week and then Silk will close to have our social distancing coincide with the 2 week period after March break. We will be closed until April 4th. We have many snowbirds and vacationers coming back and just hoping people self regulate is not enough for due diligence. I will be in the salon everyday for a bit to answer messages and to rebook appointments. We will get through I’m sure. As always, you can message me. I can’t see any hair emergencies happening but if you have one, let me know and I’ll try to help. Seriously though... please don’t box dye...Kate , Jessie and I thank you for that!!!
