November. When this view out our kitchen window is still "beautiful" and not "oh #$&@ more snow".

Yesterday, we held our first "Gathering for the Arts", drawing on members from Spirit of the Hills. The primary objective of our gatherings is to bring together local people in the creative arts in an environment where we can talk about our work, processes and challenges in a welcoming environment. This first event was an unqualified success, as we got to know each other on a level that's not easy to achieve at a book launch or gallery opening. We plan to hold more events and already others have offered to host similar events. There are no adequate words to express how happy we are to have this idea so enthusiastically supported by the community.
