It was a great day (albeit chilly!) to spend with fellow Liberals, canvassing in the riding of #Thornhill!! What a warm & positive reception at the doors, in support of Sandra Yeung Racco!

Amazing night! Joined a very dedicated group of Liberals in Scarborough- Rouge River, celebrating the holiday season together. And attended a very successful fundraiser put on by PIDC, for victims of Typhoon Yolanda. Great to see so many friendly faces in the room, including our Premier!

Last night I met elected delegates from the Richmond Hill PLA. I want to extend my gratitude to Reza and his riding president Louie for all the support!

Dear Liberal Family, I am running to be the next Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) President. I have the experience, the know-how and the determination to ensure that Premier Wynne and our party return to Queens Park with a majority government. I am a dedicated, lifelong liberal with a long list of achievements in local, provincial and federal politics. I believe that a strong grassroots organization and strong ridings are the key to our party winning the next election. It wont b...e an easy fight. We need to hold onto the ridings we have and win back the ridings that we have lost. This can only be done if we have a well-organized, well-funded, fully engaged grassroots party and riding associations. We need to improve training and volunteer recruitment. We need to support your fundraising efforts. We need to arm you with the best ideas, practices and policies that will let you do your job well and win your riding. We need strong ridings to have a strong Ontario. As president I will ensure that all ridings, urban or rural, held or unheld, will have all the organizational and fundraising tools and support they need in order to win the next election. From a young age I was taught that getting involved in the political process, and giving back was really important. Born and raised in Niagara Falls, I was the youngest person ever elected to the Niagara South School Board. With vast experience as an elected executive member of the OYL, Director of Administration at the OLP, and an advisor at Queens Park both in opposition and in government, I know how to bring communities together. Over the years I have successfully managed campaigns and elections across the province, building strong relationships and gaining the trust and respect of many party veterans both elected and unelected. I believe that my tireless work ethic and deep understanding of our party is exactly what we need in our next party president.
