Lots of excitement at last night’s Christmas party. Santa and his elves passed out special homemade angels to each resident from Jazz’s Recollections. Everyone loved them. An anonymous artist dropped off some homemade cards for everyone. There was a lot of laughter during our Yankee swap. Wheaton Settlement Church Carollers were a hit and everyone was singing. We also had the NB famous Red Wrap chocolates from Bob. A great time was had by all! Merry Christmas!

We had a nice afternoon getting ready for our Christmas Party this evening and a visit from the Wee College after school program! The children made ornaments to decorate the tree and sang Christmas Carols! And we even had a visitor for the children. The smiles on the kids and residents faces were priceless!

We are very happy that our residents are having many visitors especially during the Christmas season! However, due to the increase in visitors, we've installed a doorbell and the front door will be locked. We ask that you please ring the doorbell upon arrival so our staff can do Covid-19 Screening. They are busy taking care of your loved ones so the doorbell will enable us to greet you upon arrival. Reminders: call 372-4461 in advance to let us know you'll be coming; only 2 people per visit; and masks are mandatory to be kept on during your in-room visit. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Giving back to the community is very important to Jason and Carrie Wilson. Jason generously presented a cheque totalling $854 to Salisbury Helping Hands volunteer Laurie Stewart to help out during Christmas for those in need.
