Pubcade, Halifax's largest retro arcade bar, has now reopened! Located at 1575 Argyle Street (a part of the Pint Public House) in the heart of downtown Halifax, we are open Wednesday to Saturday from 5pm to 11pm. Come on down and play classics like Mortal Kombat and Tetris, gun shooters like Carnevil and House of The Dead 2, racers like Mario Cart Deluxe, a line-up of Stern Pinball tables, and many more! The ATM and token machine is on site and the Pint Public House staff are ready to serve you with great drinks and great food. All safety measures and sanitizing protocols are in place. Don't forget to bring your mask! Hope to see you there!

Also, as an extra treat, we are happy to introduce our brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pinball by Stern! It is on site and ready to be played. We are located inside the Best Western Plus Chocolate Lake at 250 Saint Margaret's Bay Road and are all ages friendly. Everyone welcome, masks are required. Game on!

More good news today! The Sunnyside Mall Arcade has been given permission to reopen starting this Friday the 8th. We are still waiting to hear word on Chocolate Lake but are hoping for Monday the 11th. Stay Tuned!
Good news everyone! Pubcade has the greenlight to reopen tomorrow, Wednesday the 6th. The new hours will be Wednesday to Saturday, 5pm to 11pm. From all of us here at Silverball Games, and we really do mean this from the bottom of our little hearts, may your 2021 be a better year than this year! Best wishes to all!
Please note - We will be closing all of our locations starting this Thursday (the 26th). This closure will last a minimum of two weeks. Stay safe everyone.
Please take note- The Sunnyside Mall Arcade will be closed tomorrow morning (Wednesday) from 9am until 1pm. This is to accommodate our swap over to a token system similar to the ones at Chocolate Lake and Pubcade. We apologize for any inconvenience.
A pinball classic has arrived at Sunnyside Mall! Stern's 2003 Simpsons Pinball Party. And this copy is loaded with extras and mods to add to the fun. Check it out this Thanksgiving Weekend. We will be open regular hours today (Saturday) and tomorrow (Sunday), but closed on Monday. Game on!
Thinking back to different times. (Feb. 2016) Stay safe everyone.
John Greatwitch is having a tournament at the Chocolate Lake Arcade on Sunday the 22nd. This is not an IFPA tournament. Just for money and glory! See all the details below. Contact John at 902-402-7188 to sign up or ask questions. Covid restrictions will be followed. - - - - Likely the only pinball tournament in Nova Scotia this year. Please read the following restrictions! No points, but 100% money paid back to top 4 points players. 1st=40%, 2nd=30%, 3rd=20%, & 4th=10%... Cost is $20 per player paid in advance to secure your playing spots. The time slots available are 1pm, & 3pm. If there is more spots needed, or you can only do 5pm slot let me know. You can have groups of 2, 3, or 4. Pairs or singles I will group up. There will be a max of 2 groups of up to 4 in each time slot. There will be NO PRACTICE ALLOWED THE ENTIRE DAY! I will be on hand to free balls or do a ruling. It will be a points tournament. So high score gets 10 points on that game, & decreases a point to 10th=1 point. So at the end of the tournament each player is scored if that pinball machine remains playable. If we can do all 7 pins all day that is the goal. If not that game gets removed. Thanks to Silverball Games, each player will receive $5 worth of tokens when they pay on that day. So you can practice before the event (Not tournament day). Sample picture used, not in the tournament. Mostly classic pins from around 1990 - now. See more
