My very small business is home-based and allows me to contribute to paying bills and to afford little luxuries like extracurricular activities for the kids, face painting, a new book, a cute costume or two for them. 90% of my income is derived during the months of March - August. But with Covid-19, especially at the beginning of wedding season,... my doors are sadly closed since I cannot have clients in my home anymore. But today, I had my very first client amidst this challenging lockdown. This beautiful bride was having her wedding in 3 weeks (less than 15ppl) and was looking for a unique Crystal comb. I did a pop-up table on my front porch with the items she requested to see, and a few more that I thought they may like so that they could compare them with each other. They wore masks and gloves and we were all very respectful with social distancing. She decided to buy this piece which I know will look absolutely stunning in her hair. Thank you for giving me a chance amidst this time. I am so grateful. Us small businesses are struggling perhaps more so than the ones that offer essential things like food and drink.
