I haven’t had a post in a while but I’ve had a crazy busy summer. Lots of stuff going on in my personal life and I’m building this big cabin! I really enjoy going back to where it all started for me, framing the building. It’s been a process working by myself but I’ve had some help from neighbours and the owner. I installed a couple matching vanities on this job. Well built, no particle board here. Same handles, same top, same design just a different colour and size. With all the stuff going on in the world these days I want to post some summertime pictures of warm weather and sunshine. I built this privacy wall last year and it was the best thing! It can stay open to let air and light through or each side can be closed like a shutter to block sun, wind or neighbours peeking eyes. This floor was installed in a high traffic pharmacy in downtown Brandon. The old floor was a very old vinyl tile that had run its life and then some. There were pieces missing everywhere. After fixing the subfloor issues and installing a new smooth and solid subfloor, I glued this vinyl plank flooring down which should last for years. It was interesting working in a business that didn’t want to close during the week but I made it work and now they have a great looking floor.

Maintenance free was the goal here for this entrance deck. Trex composite decking in clam shell colour and a white aluminum Regal railing make it exactly that.
